Have some respect
I was out at a small lake that is a hidden little gem here in BC. This has been a great place to go and get some nice size fish that fight like a demon.
This lake is the size of a football field and is in a hard to get to location. It is mostly swamp i the surrounding area and is very difficult to get into. The lake has always been a great little spot to just get away and have a nice peaceful day of fishing and enjoying the wildlife.
I was at this lake this past weekend for the first time in a while and what I saw just PISSED me off to no end. Some Jackasses went there and took a chainsaw and cleared the land to get better access to the lake and then they camped out and left a pile of shit and garbage laying there for all to see.
This lake is one of the few remaining gems in the province and these jerks just come in and ruin it for all. I hope that whoever they are get nailed to the cross and fined heavily.
There are some things that are not needed in this world, and in my eyes doing this kind of crap to the few pristine places we have left is one of them.
PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF AND KEEP THE WILD, WILD AND CLEAN.
I know what you mean. I’ve gone to different hidden away spots over the years. Caught lots of fish. Like you said some idiots come in and clear away the bush and now they’re not hidden. Its too bad.
So sorry to hear about that. Damn. It happens way too much. I have come across that tons of time thinking I have found my little prize that only a few selected flyfisher people know about until someone destroys it and then the lake is destroyed and the fish no longer exists and the water is polluted. It sucks big time….
