Finally got out and did some fishing!!!!!

Published by flyfishfanatic at 12:05 am under General

It’s been a while since I Had the chance to get out and fish.

I have been VERY busy with my new book that is now out, and with preparations for the upcoming Boat and sportsmans show.

Myself and a buddy decided to take the Jet boat out and try to see if we could find a few Sturgeon.

This is the view from the boat as we anchored, As you can see it was fairly windy.

We had a hard time trying to keep the boat straight, even though we had a 55lb river anchor out the front and a drift sock out the back

We tried several differnt spots that have produced many times before, but the fishing was very slow.

Here is another picture after the wind calmed down

The day was very nice, considering it is February, and it was 12 Celsius with beautiful sunshine most of the day.

My Buddy watching the lines!

All in all a good day, and I hope that we have better luck the next time.

You have some awesome scenery around you. I always like to see new scenery.

We have sturgeon here in New Brunswick but I have never gone fishing for them. That’s gotta be a real rush when you see one of them.

If you ever need a new buddy to watch your lines I think I can make it.

I also have to mention that you have the greatest header graphic. Makes me want to go change mine. But I love mine also so I think it will stay.
