Lost Fly rods, A buddy needs your help.

Perter Morrison, a well know person in the BC flyfishing industry has sent out the following e-mail.

I spent this week-end attending the BCFFF Annual General Meeting in Nanaimo.
Saturday was a small trade show at the meeting Hotel and Sunday was spent at
the Nanaimo Fish & Game Club grounds. After the casting demonstrations at
the Fish & Game Club, I departed for the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal. While
en route, at about 4:15 PM, I noticed in my rear view mirror that my rear
canopy window had popped up and open. After a quick inspection when closing
it, we noticed that one of my large travel tubes containing many of my rods
was missing. I had loaded them in only 15 minutes earlier. It would appear
that the tube fell out of the back of the truck between 4th street and
Stewart Ave near the Departure Bay Terminal.

Anybody that knows me is aware of what my travel tubes contain, and how
valuable they are. I am now at home and will be assessing exactly what
inventory I am missing and will forward that information as soon as it is
prepared. The case itself is cylindrical and about 42″-44″ long and is about
9 inches in diameter. It is covered on the outside with dark blue cordura.
It’s contents are all Sage and Redington 4 piece rods in individual rod
bags.

I have notified the Nanaimo RCMP of this loss and they will be aware of its
value. I am willing to offer a reward for it’s return.

I would ask that anybody receiving this email, please fan it out and send to
anyone that may be able to help by being on the alert to seeing or hearing
of this Rod Case. Any and all help in this regard will be greatly
appreciated. I would ask that anybody who may get any information on this
matter, please do not hesitate to contact me in any manner possible. My
